A word to the wise: Memorable sayings

What wisdom do we posses that is so great that the world would be in such a state? My friends, relent.

Some say that knowledge is power. Some would argue that money is such. Simple balances, equations, algebra, if you will; would dictate that if x = y and y = z then x = z. I don't want to get any more technical than that. It basically suggests that some would agree to the submission that knowledge is money and vice versa. If either component of this set of functions are true, does that damn all that seek to control things?

What if Hitler had educated, fed and sheltered the people he so desperately wanted to control, and shown compassion to those he slaughtered? Would that remove the negation of his infamy? Is it incorrigible of a man to seek dominance to shed upon those that suffer a kinder light? Does absolute power corrupt...absolutely?

Is there a light left to shine on the blanket that cover the tunnels that makeup this world? I said once or twice in that book that I wrote, "To step into the light, you must first cast a shadow." (The Works of S. Bradley Pell - 2007 "Anderphonekron, CraXzes, Rules for Calling Shotgun, Poems 333)

I suppose that has one meaning that strikes you at first. Notwithstanding, it is that which is hidden that is meant to be so clearly seen. If one is born, one is born into darkness, beholding a great light. This light frightens some, yet beckons all. If you step into this light you cast a shadow upon your life, you help others, you make your mark, whatever. You fulfill your frigging destiny. All this is the journey before you become one with the source of the the illuminating for that was drawing toward a single centre.

Things are set in seasons and years. Different times turn into different places, the pain you once felt is now a quiet contentment you would do anything to maintain. Love whatever you can, my friends. This is my true advice to you if you want it. For vapors pass so quickly and the downpours wash away to greet the humid afternoon sun. It is better to endure with friends and family by yourside than to revel in any state alone.

If true wisdom is a thing you seek, then I suggest the path of the meek. It might make you feel rich, sometimes jaded. Sometimes your phone-bill could be late, but eventually you'll be glad you paid it. Industry and technology are not the tailors of humanity's demise. "People kill people." That, my friends, is a "word to the wise."
