#2: "Gays are unnatural." I'll make this quick: search Wikipedia for "homosexuality in animals," or follow the link at the bottom of this article, and if you don't trust wiki itself, check out the 45 sources listed at the bottom of the wiki page. My point? Homosexual behavior is very common in nature, and despite this, obviously doesn't cause extinctions - otherwise, it would hardly be observed, if at all. It comes naturally to many animals, including homo sapiens, and does no significant harm, if it does any at harm all.
Not that the results of the evolutionary process reflect or endorse morality in any direct way in the first place, of course. That would be social darwinism, and social darwinism is unjustifiable because it fallaciously ignores the is/ought distinction. But I'm just saying.
Myth #3: "Homosexuals should not be tolerated because they can not reproduce." Holy cow, so what? We've got more than six billion people trampling this planet, and you want more of them? How environmentally unfriendly can you get? Further, people who can't reproduce are married all over the place. Or are you suggesting that the government should force divorce upon all childless couples, including the childless couples who adopt?
Myth #4: "Accepting homosexuality will destroy ________ (a valued ideal)." To this, I say - prove it. Or, I could lax the requirements significantly and just say, "Provide evidence for any instance of tragedy, destruction, or oppression that can't be more easily explained by factors other than homosexuality, such as bigotry, slavery, totalitarianism, or violence." Occam's Razor, baby. If you can't do this, your point is invalid and speculatory, not factual.
Myth #5: "Homosexuality is ________ (some vile, degrading, cruel word)." In short, if you say this, you just suck. If you use this as an argument against gay rights, you suck worse, because it shows you're unable to differentiate between morality, law, and unbridled personal disgust. In other words, you fail at life, and many people, including mental health professionals, are likely to consider you mentally unstable - that is, crazy. This also applies if you declare gay people to be non-human. Obviously they are, by any commonly accepted definition of the word "human." You just don't want to treat some humans like they're humans. That's bigotry, and in case you hadn't figured it out by now, bigotry is a reprehensible flaw.
Myth #6: "Heterosexual marriage is sacred, and this sacredness is unmutable."
