Bad credit: Now what?

You really are a idiot when it comes to credit aren't you? No one told you how to use credit wisely so it's not really your fault you're in debt up to your neck. If anything the credit companies are at fault , aren't they? After all they are the ones that practically shoved the loans down your throat. When you think it about the fact that you are months in arrears with payments and now have a bad credit rating is their fault. You simply didn't realize that you were paying practically all your income on loan repayments.

Of course when you applied for a loan and actually listed all your commitments at the last credit company they had the audacity to refuse you credit by saying you were over committed ,whatever that meant. How rude. Over committed was just a fancy way of saying you were too honest in your loan application. Clever you decided to go to another credit company and just leave off a few of the loans outstanding . That company had no problem in approving your loan . You see the trick to getting credit is to leave off most of your outstanding debts so the the credit company thinks you are not over committed . Of course you only list the companies to which you owe money and are up to date with the repayments on your loan application. That way your loan is approved every time.

Like I said you really are a idiot when it comes to credit aren't you? You owe thousands and thousands of dollars to the companies. Practically all you take home pay is taken up with repayments leaving you no spare money for having a good time. When you simply had to have a good time you figured you could miss a payment here and there and catch up. I have to agree with you though those credit companies can be quick off the mark to send you arrears letters when you miss a few payments. Typical though. The first letter you receive is so nice but then they get nasty don't they . Those companies who were so nice now resort to scare tactics like legal action, repossession , judgment. No one gave you are legal training though , did they?
It's all a bluff. Debtors prison doesn't exist anymore , does it? So what's the big deal in being a bit behind in repayments?

In a flash of inspiration it occurred to you to go to a brand new credit company and apply for a car loan and use that money instead to clear the arrears on some of your better loans and maybe pay out some of the smaller loans where it looked like you may have to appear in court. Everybody knows how easy it is
