Songs: Summer love

"I'll be in town for a while," she said with a smile on her head.

I told her that love's in the air, it's spring and birds are flying back from where they've come,

And they'll come once again in the sun and we are just kids...trapped within the prison of their song.

[Chorus] So sing me that tune and I'll lift up my face. Look in your eyes and I'll float away. I'll be okay. Give me a hand and I'll put it in mine, I will be just fine I'm alright. Laughing away, cause everything's great.

"See you around next year," she said when the summertime came.

I told her I know I'm not the one she loves and I know that I can never be that man.

But I give and I give and I give her all that I can...just to watch her give it all to him.

[Chorus] So sing me that tune and I'll be on my way. Feet on the ground to great the new day. I'll be okay. You're voice in my life has opened my mind. I'll will be just fine, I'm alright. Laughing away, cause everything's great.

Laughing away, cause everything's great.
Laughing away, cause everything's great.
Laughing away, cause everything's great.
Laughing away, cause everything's great.
Laughing away, cause everything's great.
