Caps lock, backspace, control, alt, delete,
Just one wrong press, and then, a little beep,
And if this failed attempt, it be your frantic third,
Then woe betide you fool, you'll need a new password.

Welcome to Keystroke, this is our new world,
LCD and plastic, key mightier than a sword,
Upper case, lower case, whatever to state our case,
Words on white pixels, so lonely the interface.

Broadband, its so fast, the thing to take you further,
Until your cluttered laptop, refuses to hump the server.
Oh my god no Ebay, You Tube, or the news.
Like the ice cream van's outside, and you can't, find your shoes.

But for all it's frustration, it's power draws us in,
It clutters up our minds, and gets beneath our skin,
A whole world out there, through a single USB port,
But it's all so worryingly fickle, and that's a scary thought.
