Oh how I wish I could take you there,
Its so Peaceful,
Christ is there,
I'm not ashamed of what I have to wear,
God is not a respector of persons,
The raiment he doesn't care,
He is never unaware that I'm there,
He welcomes me to come,
My heart I bend,
My mind is renewed,
I'm given a cup of strength to get me through whatever may be case,

I talk with God there about my family and friends,
Sometimes we just are there, together, he always knows what is on my heart,
Sometimes, I never have to say a word, the Holy Spirit speaks for me, he's more intelligent than me, he knows my heart, when words I can't impart,
So often I am troubled in my sleep, I hug and hug, my daughter but she isn't really there,
He awakes me and says, "Talk with me awhile, I soothe you back to sleep, you are my child!"
The sanctuary within, no one can't take that from me, it was there for me from the foundation of the world,
You have one too, I hope it is not dusty or filled with world webs, there is no longer a veil,
You can always enter in, Christ rent it for you from the top to the bottom, take off the blinders that is over your eyes and walk right in!
If you've never found the door to yours, I assure you, he standing next to you, closer than a brother or friend, he'll hear you, when you invite him in,
Knock and it shall be opened unto you, seek and ye shall find, is not a lie,
Find your sanctuary within, I can never visit but I will understand, I will know it by your smile, it glows from within!
