The Inactivity and Starch Trap - Food Combinations
In this article we are going to talk about the abuse of fat, sugar and starches and how this practice is literally making millions sick and sending them to an early grave.
When you combine this with chronic inactivity, the result undoubtedly is obesity and sickness. It is the aim of this article to snap you out of this practice and get you moving towards a leaner and healthier you.
Perhaps starch and inactivity have been a trap for you. Don't worry. There is a way out.
Here we are going to get slightly technical in regards to white starches and sugars and how they negatively affect your body.
I also will provide suggestions you can use to get your back on track and help you achieve your weight loss and fitness goals. But as with everything, this is a process.
Be good to yourself and remember: the tortoise won the race. Make slow but steady changes and you will definitely reap the results.
Inactivity
Let us begin by first taking about the quandary of inactivity that is feeding the obesity epidemic in The Anti Prevention Nation.
The weight gain/ weight loss equation remains the same: Calories In - Calories Burned = Weight Loss or Weight Gain, depending on the amount of calories consumed.
We all know that the most successful method to weight loss is to not only decrease calorie intake, but to also increase the amount of calories burned via some sort of exercise.
The Chinese people have said for centuries that inactivity causes disease. I have found this to be personally true.
I come from a family of mostly heavy people. The genetic predisposition to obesity has been verified along with many other diseases.
But this does not mean that you should simply surrender to the fact that you will be obese because other persons from your family are overweight. This is not true.
In fact, it is the purpose of our discussion here to motivate you and let you know that YOU CAN make the change? You CAN break patterns that perhaps other people in your family were unable to overcome.
The word that came to mind as I pondered these questions was - MOVEMENT.
If you think about it, all living things move - plants, animals, humans. The only living thing that is perfectly still is one that is dead.
Why then do beings created to move (equipped with muscles, ligaments and bones that support and conduce movement) by their very purpose and design, lie still for days, weeks, months and years? It does not make sense.
