Everybody wants to earn extra money. One proven way is with a website

The Web has come since it's inception for military use.. Today, the Web is a commercial force, that offers a variety of ways to make money. The Web is still growing, your best strategy would be to diversify in as many niche areas as you possibly can so that when one niche runs dry you can always fall back on another. Here are some ways that you can make money with a website.

1. Sell advertising and sponsorships for your site.

2. Sell products and services from your site.

3. Point people to other sites.

4. Collect and sell information.

5. Charge a fee to access your site - or at least part of your site.

6. Do email marketing.

7. Rent software online.

Blogging is becoming bigger than websites. There are many ways to make money with a blog.

Advertising Programs - there are many options now that include:

Sponsorship - Sponsorship are what some bloggers are doing. The bloggers are being paid to write on certain topics by companies.

Affiliate Programs - There are larger affiliate programs you can link to your site. There are thousands from large to small.

Digital Assets - e-books, courses and tele-seminars are a spreading and increasingly financially lucrative endeavor.

Blog Network Opportunities - Writing advertisements or reviews for others and posting them on your blog can create residual income.

Business Blog Writing Opportunities - Bloggers are being hired to run company blogs.

Non Blogging Writing Opportunities - Bloggers are being approached to write for newspapers, magazines and other non blog websites.

Donations - Tip Jars and donation buttons have been a part of blogging for years, fundraising drives have also been successful.

Flipping Blogs - If your blog becomes hugely popular, you may be offered to sell it for a rewarding amount.

Merchandising - Sell your own merchandise such as t-shirts, mugs, etc.
