It's obvious that professional wrestling isn't what it once was. It used to be, well "entertaining." Now professional wrestling is just insulting. Insulting viewer intelligence that is! However, if you had to watch either one wrestling program or the other, which would it be WWE or TNA?

TNA (Total Nonstop Action,) is my choice and I'll tell you why. TNA is a hungrier group of wrestlers and a hungrier company over-all. They haven't reached their pinnacle yet, so they have to try harder than WWE and Vince McMahon. Another reason to choose TNA is because it's more athletic. How many times do you see a 450 splash on WWE television? Not very often, because most top rope maneuvers are banned from the WWE! Most of WWE's matches are very slow paced, which is fine for some of you, but not for me. I like the smaller, more athletic wrestlers and WWE prefers 300 pounders. Athletic wrestling IS the future of professional wrestling, and until WWE realizes that then they'll be left back in the 80s.

Let's talk about innovation, TNA is obviously more innovative than the competition. Examples of that include: Elevation X, Ultimate X, and the Terror Dome matches. If I'm correct the last innovative concept that WWE introduced was the Elimination Chamber back in 2002 (Which is a great match!) However, in order for wrestling to continue to thrive they need innovation. Face it, every storyline has been done Unless you keep coming up with new concepts and twists then the product gets boring. That's the case in the WWE, they're becoming stale. A lot of that has to do with lack of competition. TNA is yet to pose a real threat to the WWE. Wrestling was at it's best back when there was competition with WCW vs WWF (Now WWE.) They were at "war" constantly trying to "one-up" the other program. That's what we need to happen in wrestling again, because right now WWE has no intention of "one-upping" TNA. WWE has gone on record as saying that they do not consider TNA to be competition, and that WWE is more entertainment based than wrestling based While TNA is more wrestling based! My question for Vince McMahon is this: Isn't professional wrestling matches entertaining? They're supposed to be anyway! So, why not give us more wrestling and better action?

My final complaint with WWE is Triple H! It's been said before, but I'll say it again: Why is HHH champion? Does it have something to do with being married to the daughter of the Chairman? In my opinion Randy Orton should still be champion right now, and he should've lost it to someone more deserving! The "Game" is over if you ask me!

People like to compare the ratings of WWE and TNA. "WWE is better, the ratings show it!" That's not completely accurate, because WWE has something called "name value." They also advertise their product much better than TNA does. It's like going to the grocery store, obviously Pepsi will sell better than the store's generic cola brand of sodas. So, please when you respond don't include ratings in your argument. Also, in this debate consider actual wrestling. Which show has better wrestling and more exciting matches?
