God of the Rain
The wind in my hair
Is chilling me,
Tangling my hair, weaving it.
I can see the end of a long day,
I'm counting my blessings,
But still missing you.
My heart is fighting my mind.
Weaving a tangled web.
Seize the day! Don't let it slip away
But I cannot settle the longing
Unsatisfied in my heart.
When my fire's burnt out
My tears have run dry,
Where can I be revived?
When my soul is barren,
Where is the rain now?
God of the Ocean,
Wash my weary heart.
God of the seas,
Pour life into me.
God of the rain,
Wet my desert soul.
