Prepare us
For grandchildren.
We now know
What we didn't
Know then.
The ability to
See ourselves
Thru another
Set of eyes.
And to give
What was given
By our parents
To our children.
Children teach
What we need
To think about
Attention
Entertainment
Affection.
Character.
Grandchildren
Are the ones
Who reap that
Wisdom.
Giving all
participants.
Memories built
on a foundation
of love.
