The evolution of online games

might want to consider if you are thinking about attempting online gaming of this sort. Keep in mind, however, despite the level of graphics and sound enhancements on the Console boxes, the PC's graphics and sound will almost always be better by comparison. This is simply due to the flexibility of programming for PCs. Programming for the Console, although phenomenal now-a-days, are still cookie cutter.

Shaiya Is an online free account internet game. It promises of incredible graphics and seamless interactivity with environmental content including, beautiful graphics in the style of Japanese art and exquisite musical score. This game is set to free play.

Starcraft II is an advanced version of its predecessor from, Blizzard Entertainment, promises a more in depth ladder ranking system with new 3D graphics and sound. This game relies on your ability to think on your seat strategy in real time against opponents from all over the world. But it isn't for the kind hearted and you have to remind yourself, often, that it is only a game, as your opponent pulverizes you with advance alien technology. This game is set to free play.

Age of Conan Another graphically enhanced game, from Eidos, with its beautiful landscapes and DirectX 10 sound this game is rife with content taken directly from the books of Robert E. Howard's, Conan. Winning numerous awards, it is slated to be one of the MMO's top games. It isn't free to play online, however.

Haze We've already talked about this one! Only available on the PS3 though. This game requires a subscription to the PSN (Play Station Network)

Soul Calibur 4 As Haze is a beautifully enhanced first person shooter, SC4, is by far one of the most beautiful games for the console PC. For the first time ever, Bandai Namco has emerged onto the online arena with this popular title allowing players of past and future to compete against each other for the enigmatic swords. And, yes, you also get to play as Yoda or Darth Vader! Requires subscription to PSN and XBOX Live

Spectral Force 3 Is a Gump 3D CGI technology, with an anime back-story driven fighting game for the XBOX 360 from Atlus and Microsoft. Its game content is based on the idea leaning towards RPGing while still in console fighting mode. It is currently only available for the XBOX 360.

Gears of War II Microsoft's answer to UbiSoft's Haze isyou guessed itonly available on the XBOX 360. Offering a fantastic array of weaponry, graphics, sound and storyline as well as customizable characters female and male, this game is listed to be one of this year's best. Although the release date will be sometime in November, which will be plenty of time for Haze to help PS3 gain momentum.

There are still a huge number of games to be released soon for the PC, XBOX, PS3 and the Wii that it would take forever to list. I would never be able to make the deadline for this article's release without some new game coming out. So fluff up your seats, recharge those controller batteries, update your PCs and get ready for this year's golden era two of Computer Gaming. And remember, it is all just a game.
