Open Window.......
I whisper softly words of Love
Into ears that can not hear
The pounding of a heart
For a man that's held so dear
I speak a heartfelt prayer
For a soul I thought I knew
That sleeps inside a man
Where true Love seldom grew
I cry a thousand silent tears
For a Love he couldn't share
His heart embraced by too much pain
In a life he felt unfair
I hope for a forgiveness
He may never feel inside
For words I ought not spoken
That sometimes hurt his pride
I breathe an extra breath of air
Let my Love for him flow free
In hopes his heart receives
All the Loving sent from me
So I'll leave an open window
Just in case one day
He frees his broken heart
And somehow finds the way
The way to Love and lasting Peace
We're all meant to feel within
The way that opens up the heart
So a new life can begin.
