Crawling
So here we are now, you and I
Just a box of memories and a set of pictures in our minds
Against the current, we're trying to wade through
But inside oh inside we know we're beaten black and blue
Cos the dreams are haunting
The days turning cold
And I wish I could have you
Buy back those feelings i sold
Cos the wounds are still open
And the salts seeping in
And I cant fight the pain
The pain thats crawling within
So here I am now, I don't know what I need
But my heart is aching and I'm falling with speed
But no one can see it cos I hide it so well
But the tears keep streaming and there's no one to tell
Cos the days of smiles
Oh they've drifted away
Once a thousand words a minute
Now I got nothing to say
Cos my thoughts are burning me
Got nothing left inside
And now I'm left here in pieces
In the darkness I hide
So here I am facing my own reflection I cry
Filled with dissatisfaction asking "Why, oh why"
The drugs wont help me, yeah they just break me in two
And I just need something to heal me and that something is you
Cos the dreams are haunting
The days turning cold
And I wish I could have you
Buy back those feelings I sold
Cos the wounds are still open
And the salts seeping in
And I cant fight the pain
The pain thats crawling within
It's crawling within yeah
It's crawling within
It's crawling within oh
It's crawling within
