Poetry: I dare you

by Melvin Barella

Created on: May 28, 2008

I dare you to walk away from this wonderful life, when you once was my lover and my wife. This is a very big commitment that you made to me, my heart, my love you said you would always be. I was always there for you to see, for you to share a love you know with wholesome care. Many days and many nights we did share and I thought you really did care. Our life you said that we would spend together sharing a lot of love and yet you dare to walk away. I was sure some day you would be my loving friend and forever my wife to share a love for the rest of your life. I dare to say you did not care and yet you said you did care and would always be there. The plans we made the the love we shared and yet you dare to not be here. I dare you to live your life away from me,a life that will not be fulfilled with the love you said was meant for me. I dare you to share a life with another and not with me the one you said would be your forever lover.
