Testimonies: Mother's Day without a mother

How do you make Mother's Day without a Mother easier for you? Mother's Day without a mother is one of the hardest things I have ever experienced. However, I know that I am not alone. There are many who struggle with this same situation, rather it be because your mother has passed from this world or you simply don't have a good relationship with your mother. In my case I don't have a good relationship with my mother. I try so hard to always remember that Christ stands close by my side, and He shall never leave me. It is hard to do, I wont lie to you it is not easy at all. But always remember that it is not your fault. You cannot sit around blaming yourself for someone else's hurts and mistakes. You can't look to the future when your living in the past. Don't worry about yesterday, you can't change it. Tomorrow will worry about itself. Take each day with grace in your heart, and know that you are living the best life you know how to live. Count your blessings everyday, and don't dwell on the things you don't have in your life. Once you know that you have tried everything in your power to make things right. Step back and let the other person do their part. Don't get your hopes up, she may or may not come around. If she doesn't don't blame it on yourself. Pray everyday and don't lose faith. Everything that happens to you in your life makes you a stronger person. So, keep your chin up, it does get easier to deal with. Trust in God, He will take care of you, if you will let Him. Mothers Day, and holidays are especially hard, so suround yourself with friends, and family, and all those who love you. That will help ease the heartache and pain. At the same time it will help you realize all the people you are so blessed to have in your life. Those that you hold dear, are the angels in your life, so keep them close by and always in your heart. Our Mothers will always have a special place in our hearts. Know matter what they do to us, we will always love them. I left home under really horrible circumstances. I went about a year and a half with out ever hearing from her. After that I gave her the benifit of the doubt once again. Things had not changed much! In fact she did not want to be a mother at all anymore. It takes everything I have, but I have to go on in life. I just know there is nothing I can do to change her heart. You need to do the same, because if you dwell on something you know you can't change, it will only weigh you down. It will began to consume your life. Don't let it do that to you. It's not worth It. Life is too short to cry over spilt milk. So, how do you make your Mother's Day without a mother easier for you? You hold your head up high, no matter what life throws at you. Trust in God and know that He will take care of everything. Nothing is impossible with God in your life. God is the greatest blessing you will ever know. So, let go, and let God! Everything that happens in life is in Gods hands. God Bless You all! I hope I have been of great help to all who read this story! In Him!
