Poetry: Desire

*Alonzo*

How could I tell you
how I felt, what would
you have said?

So I didn't tell you,
I wrote you a note instead.

I just gave it to you over thirty
minutes ago and all I can think of
is what I wrote.

I told you I'll miss you,
when you graduate,

and that I really like you and
I just had to say, that I'm usually
sorry when I say this to a guy,

but I'm not today, because it feels so
right. I was depressed when I didn't see

you this morning, I wanted to give you the
note then, but you weren't there,
so I visited you in fourth period

and gave it to you then.
I've never been so scared,

or nervous, about any thing in my life,
until now. See what you do to me?
You scare me out of my whits

when your not even around,
if you simply refuse me,

my heart will wilt, and
fall

To

The
Ground.
