This is a different version of Daddy's Little Girl by Frankie J for my mom:
She screams and shouts like never before
I know my mommy wont be back anymore
I drag my feet across the floor
Trying to hold on tight to keep her hanging on
And I say:
Mommy, Mommy don't leave
I'll do anything to keep you
Right here with me
Can't you see how much I need you
Mommy, Mommy don't leave
Daddy did some things he don't mean
He don't know what he's talking about somebody hear me out
Father, Listen
Tell her that she's got a family that love her so
Father save her
I would do anything in return
I'll clean my room
try hard in school
I'll be good
I promise you
Father, Father
I pray to you
Now I haven't slept in weeks
I don't wanna close my eyes cause I'm scared that she'll leave
It's getting harder now
For her to live
And I say:
Mommy, Mommy don't leave
I'll do anything to keep you
Right here with me
Can't you see how much I need you
Mommy, Mommy don't leave
The voices are saying things they don't mean
They don't know what their talking about
Somebody hear me out
Father, Listen
Tell her that she's got a family that love her so
Father save her
I would do anything in return
I'll clean my room
Try hard in school
I'll be good I promise you
Father, Father
I pray to you
Please don't let her go
I'm begging you so
Now open her eyes
And give me more time
To tell her that I love her more
Than anything in the world
It's Mammy's little girl
Father, Listen
Tell her that she's got a family that love her so
Father save her
I would do anything in return
I'll clean my room
Try hard in school
I'll be good
I promise you
Father, Father
I pray to you
She was mommy's little girl
Mm...oh...
