There are many aspects of planning a wedding. One of the most critical part of planning a wedding is choosing a theme. Choosing your theme sets the mood for everything else. The food your guest will eat, the decorations you will use, and even the style dress you will wear. As the economy has revolved weddings aren't simply a church with lots of flowers. A great theme is a beach theme wedding. This theme can be elegant or very laid back. Also, with choosing a beach theme it can work with any budget. With cost of todays living, more couples are finding that they have to have a rather low budget. Though there are many great ways to plan a fabulous beach themed wedding for under $11,000.00.

The first, and most important, the brides dress. For a beach theme the bride could have a shorter gown, or a simple sun dress. These style dresses are traditionally cheaper then a Cinderella dress. When doing research for my own wedding dress, I have found that most bridal boutiques almost always have these dress on sale. Another idea for a dress to fit this theme, is to look under prom dresses, or even look at local retail stores. I found a dress for my wedding at a clothing store in my local mall for $60.00. It works great with my theme and really great with the low budget that I had to work with.
The second area is location. For a beach themed wedding, you don't have to be on a beach. A great idea would simply be any place outside. It is very easy to find a beautiful location outdoors with a nice pond or lake. When finding locations such as this you will come to find it is about the same cost as reserving a church. A great tip to help save you money would be to find an outdoor location where you can have both the ceremony and reception.
A big expense is the food and drinks. A great way to save some money on the food is to have a buffet. This works great with beach theme weddings because you can carry the theme of the beach and serve light foods. Serving big salads, chicken, and fruit will fill your guest for a surprisingly cheap cost. As for the drinks, the best suggestion is to find a location where you can set up your own bar. Though this may not be as easy as it sounds. As for a bar tender, you can have it as self serve, or you can find someone who does bar tending who will work for the night at a very fair price.
Last would be the decorations. This is the easiest part of planning a beach themed wedding. For those who are under a tight budget, use bold colored
