It is better to be self-employed than working for an employer in modern industralized world. Unlike the era of the Industrial Revolution during which science and technology had all the economic power to the rich, today individuals with just reasonable amount of income could begin their own buisness which sometimes grantees them economic freedom for the rest of their lives. Karl Marx, the erudite German philosopher, social scientist ,historian and revolutionary thinker had forcefully argued in one of his essays that "the worker becomes all the poorer the more wealth he produces, the more his production increases in power and range. The worker becomes an ever-cheaper commodity the more commodities he creates. With the increasing value of the world of things proceeds in direct proportion to the devaluation of the world of men. Labour produces not only commodities ;-it produces itself and the worker as a commodity-and does so in the proportion in which it produces commodities generally."If we look at Karl Max's thesis, it is that the harder we work the less we could expect to gain working for some one especially a greedy employer.

Working for some one is just like the sample of a landlord who puts just a one time investment in building a house. After the landlord in question here build his house he rents it to tenants. Every month the landlord will collect rent but puts no futher investment to improve the condition of his house monthly. So his one time investment brings him more money while the tenants remain in thesame houses every month. If it has to be a fair game, the land lord must rebuild the house each month since the tenants are paying each month. When you work for some one and he keeps you employed, that simply means he is making profit from you the employee or he is making profit from what you can produce. But if you work for your self you are your own boss. Being your own boss could give you the chance to decide what and how you want to spend your time.

Self employement has become one of the best weapond for greedy employers of the twenty first century. Working for a greedy employer is one of the worst thing that can happen to anyone. A greedy employer is only intrested in how to make money from companies and his employees in whatever way he could. A greedy employer could cut down your working hours if he feels his buisness is slow but when the biusness is busy he wants you the employee to put more efforts for him to gain more money. If your are your own boss you decide what to do with your income untile you become financially strong. It is also important to understand that it is not sometimes possible not to work for someone but if you do then try not to stay long doing it for when your employer gets another way to make money he will let you go if he does not need you at his new buisness. The most important thing to remember is do not stay too long working for some one. The earlier you quite when you can start your own buisness the better it is.
