Happy Mother's Day
There are no words that could ever express
Just how dear you are to me!
There was no tremble,no tremor in the end
Once they shut off the machines.
Only the sound of pure silence,
and the cries of my broken heart.
I had lost my Mother,my best friend.
My whole world torn completely apart.
You looked so pretty in your blue suit.
With the most flowers I've ever seen!
You looked like you were but sleeping.
Your expression,one of pure peace.
I had to pick up the pieces of my broken
heart,
and try to proceed with my life.
But you are forever in my heart,
and always on my mind.
I bought you a single rose on Mother's day.
And then I remembered what you had said.
Bring me flowers when I am here to enjoy them.
Not when I am dead!
