Poetry: Secrets

Hidden secrets of the night,
Come to me, let me see no light.

Let my feelings lay upon you,
Soak up all my pain,
Take me to the place,
Where I was born again.

Hidden secrets of the night,
Will you be my shining Armour
and protect me from this cruel world.

Do not let me fall in love,
Just to be hurt again,
If that was to happen I would surely go insane.

So hidden secrets of the night, will you be my love?
Will you be fear and hate?
Will you lead me safely to the gates of God?
To throw away all my sins.
