Moms, where would we be without them? Not here of course, so children should learn to value their mothers. Reading books with them is a great bonding time for the two of you and reading on some great topics is key to teaching them. I love the message this books delivers to children. It shows no matter how busy or hectic your life is, you always have to make time for those you love. It goes through with beautifully artistic pictures by Mike Reed. Very cute story children will love especially small children.

The boy Milo in the story tries to figure out what is so special about mothers. He has a hard time figuring it out as he thinks moms are just big bullies. Until one night three aliens come into his home and steal his sleeping mother. HE goes after them and ends up on Mars with them as does his mother.

Then the journey begins for Milo as he goes on to discover just what is so special about moms, his particularly. Very cute story with beautiful pictures from the author that children will love.

JUST ME AND MY MOM - AUTHOR - MERCER MAYER

My children love the books by Mercer Mayer. This one is about Little Critter and his day out with his mom in the city. It shows how supportive and patient his mother is with him as he gets himself into trouble along the way. Very cute story for young children.

With beautiful pictures by Sue Huszar this book is one to share with children of all ages, mostly younger ones. It is a simple book but with a beautiful message that all can love. It is one that motivates children and parents to discuss about the pictures. It is a great bonding book.
