An Italian,Greek, and Black boy.
Growing up in to the young man I am today, presented many new faces. Meeting new people isn't always so easy when you have to wear fake legs. Still, some of the greatest events that has happened, came from meeting new people. Also, on the other hand, some of the worst habits attributed came from those same people. My best friends are Nick(Greek) and Carmine(Italian). These two have seen hell with me, yet we were mostly always joking; this was probably because we were always high. I don't support drug use or joke about it but, to deny use is to deny parts of my life. The following is about, how the three of us(Nick,Carmine, myself) maintain our friendship while being so different.
Nick is a man with very low self-esteem, he was very overweight at one point of his life. When he became older, he worked very hard to lose the weight; he couldn't lose the excess skin that surrounded his stomach. Often, he would lift his shirt (anywhere) to examine himself. Carmine and I made fun of him by calling him "fat boy" in an older man's voice. If Nick's appearance didn't get him down then his financial setting did. He was the friend to always beg for money, rides, and free stuff(beer,food,etc...). Being in his depressing situation for so long he just stopped bathing and increased his drug intake. He never had money, but he was always (always) intoxicated. He would be in a drunken mindset for days, he often woke up to drink and passed out drinking. Soon things became worse, he captured a DWI charge while, driving his dad's car five miles an hour looking for girls on a busy bar street. But, he did have his good moments, for one he was very bright. Nick could figure out any logical problem, as you can tell he loved video games. Second, anything he committed himself to (few things) positive or negative, he was very passionate about. I once saw him steal more then $2000 dollars(gass station attendant) in three days to go on a trip to California from New York. Their was another time he made fake copies of popular shows and sold them on-line, he was grossing $1000 a week in the tenth grade! The best thing I ever received from Nick was my first girlfriend, which was his oldest sister. The worst thing, I ever received from Nick was a hole in my pocket. Nick might not have much, but he was much more content then Carmine.
My buddy Carmine, wanted to taste all of life in one sip. He was in great shape, and woman loved his condescending ways. I never understood
