WHAT I'VE LEARNED
I won't pretend to know everything, because I don't. i wont pretend to be a guru on everything, because God knows I'm not. I'm neither a prophet nor a messiah. Not even a preacher to oblige you to have a change of heart, or those sorts of things. All I am is a homo sapien with a pen.
I've learned a lot. Enough to prompt me to write. Well, enough still to post it.
I've learned that love is never an assurance.
I've learned that it is easier to love, than to trust. Because once you've lost your trust, what would be the foundation of a relationship? Trust isn't given freely anyway, it's earned. I've learned that at some point, you have to let go. not because its the right thing to do or because its moral or ethical or whatever crap you have in mind, but because you don't have any other choice.
I've learned that it is entirely possible to love and continue to love someone who doesn't even care.
I've learned that friends are the best companions and I can't imagine life without them.
I've learned that perfection does not exist. So make the best out of things.
I've learned that love doesn't fade that easily. No matter how hard you try.
I've learned that guys are the most insensitive creatures to ever walk this planet.
I've learned that Gerard Butler is hot. And lately, so is David Cook.
I've learned that you can't please everybody - so don't even try.
I've learned that there will always be people who won't like you. Shrug them off. It's not about them anyway.
I've learned that nothing goes unpunished.
I've learned that life is, in the simplest sense - unfair. It rains the hardest on those people who deserve the sun. But then no one said it was going to be easy anyway. They said promised it to be worth it.
I've learned that nothing is impossible, that if you really want it, you really could have it.
I've learned that life is short, so live it well - not perfectly, just well.
I've learned that a pillow is the best companion you can ever have.
I've learned that well... the learning goes on and on.
