Poetry: Watching

by finne

Created on: May 27, 2008

One day I was watching in some remote part of the world the wind gently blowing the dust in

their mist.

One day I was watching in some remote part of the world with fury the winds destroyed all

their dreams

One day I was watching in some remote part of the world the gentle rain washing away sickness and germs

One day I was watching in some remote part of the world the rain pounding and drowning them

instead

One day I was watching in some remote part of the world the earth explosive lava burning all

to hell

One day I was watching in some remote part of the world the aluminating light once more

filtering in, shaking the earth under their feet, burying thousands no place to flee

One day in some remote part of the world they'll be watching us getting down on our knees
