The best free Internet RPG games

Playing Role Playing Games is currently one of the most popular things to do on the Internet. Many people turn to these mind-wasters when they want to talk with friends, want to relax, or just want to have some fun. They take control of their character and go from there, no limits exist.

There are many good free Online RPG's on the internet, but there are only 3 that I am going to focus on today.

-==RuneScape==-

Out of all the Role Playing Games I've played, this has been the most fun and most addictive. In RuneScape, you don't just play as a character, you ARE your character. RuneScape is perfect for those with plenty of online friends. Join up and quest, play, work, or relax, its all up to you. There is no hurry to level up, so take your own time tto explore the vast region that is RuneScape

In RuneScape, you can be whatever you want. Do you want to mine rare minerals, take a hammer to them, and then sell rare forms of armor to people? Guess what, the customization of RuneScape lets you do that. Want to become the strongest warrior ever? Quest, grind, and level up to become the best in RuneScape.

The world of RuneScape is another thing to marvel at. It is huge. And I don't mean it consists of a few towns and cities, it has over 20 huge cities and 30 huge areas, counting the vast Wilderness where players in RuneScape can fight in a 1 on 1 match to the death. When you start, you can only explore about a third of the whole world, but if you purchase the members option, you can do anything you want to.

-==MapleStory==-

Many online Role Playing Games today are cool and creative, but none as creative as MapleStory. You would think it would be some bad MMO, but upon closer inspection, you realized that it is an amazing piece of work.

One main feature that makes MapleStory so cool and appealing to many are the graphics. I'm not talking top-of-the-range 3D graphics, I'm talking a 2-D sidescrolling game. You heard me, sidescrolling. MapleStory takes what most MMOs do and add it to an almost classic game. The 2D sprites are also a huge hit for MapleStory. Each spell and facial expression is perfect.

-==Gaia Online==-

When it comes to literal Role Playing games, sure there are plenty of great ones, but none as great as Gaia. Gaia is a simple game with multiple uses. I use it to talk with friends when I'm bored. In Gaia, you first are prompted to make an avatar. This avatar is supposed to either look like you, or look like something you like. You can change almost anything about your avatar to make it unique.

Once you have your person made, go hang out and have a good time with your friends and their avatars. Talk, play a few games, or just hang out. It's all really up to you in the end. You can also work to change the look of your avatar if you want. It is quite a fun game.

Online Role Playing Games have taken the Internet and the world by storm in the past 10 years, and most expect their empire of fun to keep on growing.
