Welcomed Death
Death will come as great relief
And end much sorrow, pain and grief
To a life that's enjoyed bliss
But not a life that shall be missed
For deep within this gift of life
Has been much chaos, loss and strife
That's weighed so heavy on the soul
Assaults on this life, out of control
Death will be a welcomed friend
Seen as a chance to begin again
Free of the deep felt shame and pain
And rise up to another plane
To welcome death is no disgrace
And see mercy on death's dark face
For death will come as great relief
To end the sorrow, pain and grief
