Premature Ejaculation

Ejaculation is the name given to the time during intercourse, when the semen squirts out. It is the peak of male orgasm. If you suffer from premature ejaculation, this happens too soon, that is before you or your partner want you to.

Premature ejaculation is common, as many couples wish intercourse could last longer than it does. In fact according to Hite survey nearly seventy per cent of men questioned, admitted they were unable to control premature ejaculation, and so not able to carry on with intercourse for as long as they wanted.

Some men have a severe premature ejaculation problem, where they climax before even entering their partner.

Although it is also a common problem in young men, it usually resolves itself with time.

The causes are not fully clear, but:

It can happen as the result multiple sclerosis.

In some it is related to erectile dysfunction.

It can be caused by anxiety.

However one thing for sure, is that you don't have to live with it, as you can prevent premature ejaculation, so consult your health practitioner as soon as possible.

Premature ejaculation treatment can involve psychological counselling, learning techniques to delay ejaculation, and medications. For most men, a mixture of treatments works best.

First you must talk to your partner about the problem, as they may be thinking that it is their fault. You will also need your partners help in the techniques for unlearning.

Two of the main methods stop premature ejaculation are the squeeze technique, and the stop and go technique. These involve becoming excited almost to the point of ejaculation, and then stopping.

For about ninety percent of men, this is a premature ejaculation cure, but you do need patience, as you may need to practise up to five times a week, for roughly fourteen weeks.

It can take many weeks to master these techniques. The main problem faced is going too far, and losing your erection. This is no cause for concern, as you can try again another day.

Drugs are prescribed for premature ejaculation treatment, these may include:
