After having some knowledge what prayer ablution is all about; Then you will understand that Allah did not ask for too much, and it is for your own cleanliness and good health after all.

Prayer ablution (Wudhu)is performed in the following orderly manner:
Cleaned the hands up to the wrist, begins with the right hand first.
Rinsed the mouth.
Say your intention (I'm doing wudhu for the sake of Allah) while washing your face from the forehead right down to the chin.

Wash your right and left arms right to the elbow.
Moist your head (hair).
The two ears are then moistened (optional)
Washed the feet up to the ankles The right foot first.

Note: All the above have to be repeated three times though it is not compulsory. In addition, we are also encouraged to brush our teeth, cleaned the nostril with water and don't forget to read Bismillaah-hirrahmaa-nirrahim' ( In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful) and faced the Qiblat before taking the ablution.

What nullify/spoil the prayer ablution ( wudhu ):
Impurity from one's body such as urination, stool,gas, worm or much vomiting.
Lost of consciousness through insanity, sleep and drowsiness
When one touches with the palm the private part of any human being, including one's own body.
Touches the opposite sex, if that person is within the marriageable degree of relationship, even if dead (emergency possible).

Islam is a refine religion. It demands a great quality self - discipline, especially when hygiene and cleanliness is concerned from its followers. One of them is prayer ablution (Wudhu) which is compulsory. It is the act to cleanse oneself before performing the prayer. It is Haram (Sinful) to pray without ablution.

Medically, a person who practice the ablution will observe cleanliness more closely. Our hands and feet are carrying the most germs and viruses as they are mostly exposed. We touches a lot of things when working or walking. We will be safe from the effect of those germs and viruses if we cleansed them regularly. Simultaneously we also protected our children and family from being infected.

Our mouth is full of bacteria and germs. Their existence will be reduced if we rinsed our mouth regularly.

Spiritually, prayer ablution is a self discipline exercise. Allah is testing our faith not once, but all the time. Allah is teaching us to be a more responsible person, well disciplined and consistent in our commitments towards him. On the day of judgment Those who performed the ablution correctly and sincerely will have shines and sparkling white on their faces; hands and feet, and easily recognized as a good Muslim chosen for Heaven.

On the way to a mosque to pray one day, you fart. Nobody knows that your ablution had nullified. Only Allah and yourself knew what is going on. Even so, are you going to pray and faced Allah in an unclean condition. Hypocrites will be placed in the lowest depths of the fire in Hell.

If you want to be a good Muslim and sincerely pray to Allah, then you should observe this disciplinary act closely.
