Government websites has become a global learning institute. It provides information and services to the public as well as the ways the government conducts business, and introduce and enforce laws. Each government office has a website that introduce you to their purpose and the way they conduct business. These sites are accessible 24 hours a day. These sites gives us the advantage of seeking help from government agencies while gaining access to regulations and to government offices which is more efficient than an express mail, because it is received within minutes. On these sites we are able to research and access information that without the information would have taken weeks or sometimes months for us to access from any government office. This methods has caused government to be more efficient in its public relations matters. It gives us the advantage over spending time visiting a government office and waiting in line to speak to a person to access this information. It has played an import role in my life that I have become involved in many issues in the 2008 election and the political process.

Information is readily available and what happens in government plays a very important in every day life. Having easy access to this information informs and prepares me for daily living. Having access to government information is a vital part of our lives,it informs as well as teaches and prepares us. I am able to acquire first hand knowledge as well as interact with issues that are in the Senate as well as having access to my local Senators in Washington and Albany New York. Having government information has empowered me and has given me a platform to speak out on various issues such as health care, the economy and global warming and to contact my senators on these issues.

Having access prepares you therefore; you are able to handle situations more effectively because you know who to call on when issues arises. Government resources put you in touch with government officials listing their phone numbers and emails addresses. This information could never be printed in a phone book-for the public to have access. Information has played a great role in the 2008 primaries because voters are able to interact and get feed back from political official. Government is also using the feed backs from the general public in order to improve various government services because the public is so inform and involve. The Internet is bringing the government into people home and they are able to share they idea. The Internet and C Span is a very powerful tool for government agencies to use in order to bring them closer to the public and to catch your interest and get every one involve.

Government issues and information is easily accessible not only on a national level but also on a world wide level it has become sharing information with others they can learn from us as well as we can gather information and learn from them. The Internet has become the place for government leaders and citizens to discuss issues and learn from each other. Government information is what businesses both large corporation and self owned establishment depend on and a way to have a foreseen future and to setup their business plans. Even though the information has prove helpful it can also be overwhelming having this vast amount of information.
