Haunted
The girl will hide
Inside of her room
Deep within herself
His scent will coat
Her skin forever
His touch will sear
Her heart forever
She will bathe
Over and over again
Violated and haunted
The woman hides
Behind her makeup
Running from herself
His breath remains
In her mind forever
His touch assaults
Her skin forever
Even though she's cried
Again and again
Oppressed and haunted
She will no longer hide
Inside her work
Or behind her eyes
Her mind sees
Her inner beauty now
Her soul finds
Her personal strength now
Because she tried
Over and over again
To no longer be haunted.

from what you've made of me.
It's not because I've hated you
but because I'm hating me.

Little girl whimsies ripped away

I feel victory over the abuse
by Ed Ostrom

My gift to you is the hope you'll find,
Freedom from addictive
FINALLY
I quietly close the door
Quickly securing the lock
Leaning against the door
I close my eyes
Finally I sigh heavily
Realizing
