Indescribable
Things bubble up
Churning and dancing
From somewhere dark,
Hidden and untouched
Deep inside of me.
If I would describe them
If I embrace them
They would be real,
They would have power.
I can not allow this
So I swallow hard,
I choke on life,
I cant look forward,
Or allow myself to see.
I cant discuss
What remains unspoken.
To receive the mystery
Is to acknowledge truth...
The one that says
That I do not understand.
So my life is cold.
My heart is dried up.
But I understand
This much.
I shrink away,
I shut out the dark
And the words
Untouched by
True consciousness
And the deep
Reality which remains
Unperceived and
Unformed by words.
Smile and never
Describe it,
Life is better that way.
