I Dont Know
Leaves have fallen
Death is on the ground.
Even so, I am to be here.
A melancholy shadow
Dances beside me.
I dont know
How long I must stay,
Or what I must do.
Clouds block the sun,
Cold cuts through the wind.
My heart, it is so very tired.
A winter's lethargy
Seeps inside of me.
I dont know
How long I must rest,
Or when I will wake.
There's another dawn
With sun-warmed trees.
Deep inside, I will feel the light.
A new feeling
Will grow around me.
I dont know
When dawn will break,
Or what I'll see.
