Healed By Love....
She wonders which direction
She must decide for her life now
She pulls her hair back from her face
Wearily strokes her aching brow
So many forks along the road
She's faces with despair
She knows she must keep moving
Yet she's fighting just for air
Aching feet still carry her
Along life's beaten path
In silence she cries into the wind
Please release this inner wrath
Love grows she knows inside the heart
That beats within her chest
This journey's not been easy
There's been little time to rest
Travelling along this road of life
Has never been an easy one
But this last betrayal of her heart
May be what makes her come undone
Gasping now to fill her lungs
She's looks up and sees him there
Her angel through the darkness
So kind and warm and fair
He places lips upon her own
Gives her air so she might breathe
Holds her hand and heart and soul
Removes the sword once sheathed
He wraps her wound so gently
So the blood will flow no more
Speaks of love and princesses
Heals her heart so she might soar
The path no longer matters
For now she flies above
All because he was her angel
Who healed her with his love
