Soarin' high above the clouds, lifting off into space, and cruising on a test track. This is just a small sampling of the fun and experiences that will await you upon visiting EPCOT while at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This is a Disney experience unlike anything else within the four theme parks. There are thrilling rides for those that are daring and more relaxing rides for those that enjoy the touring attractions.
Spaceship Earth will be the first attraction that you will encounter upon entering EPCOT. From my personal experience, I would walk right on by and return at a later time during the day. The lines tend to be much shorter a few hours after the park opens. I would continue to the right and walk all the way over the The Land Pavilion and get Fast Passes for everyone in your party. Then, I would head on over to Test Track and go for a joy ride like no other!
Test Track is close to Mission:SPACE. Once you have tested out your new car, you can get in line to blast off into space. Be sure to not eat anything before tackling this attraction, as you will experience lifting off into space and feel weightlessness upon entering space. This does give you a true representation of what an astronaut experiences while blasting off into space. Disney has done another awesome job at recreating something to make it very real!
You will still be in Future World when you exit Mission: SPACE and The Universe of Energy Pavilion will be off on your right. This attraction takes a large number of people at a time, so if the line looks long, it probably is not. You will get to partake in a game of Jeopardy with Ellen DeGeneres, Jamie Lee Curtis and Bill Nye, "The Science Guy." Then you will board a theater like seat and take a journey back into pre-historic times with the dinosaurs.
By this time your Fast Passes to Soarin' should be useful. Head on over to The Land Pavilion and fly high will Soarin'. After your flight has ended you will want to visit The Land Pavilion with a boat ride through the many unique green houses that are on the grounds at EPCOT. Horticulturists work here all year round and are continually reinventing the way our food is produced. Many of the foods grown in here are eaten by Walt Disney World guests.
After you have journeyed through Future World you will want to venture over to the other half of the park, The World Showcase. In World Showcase you can get a true feel of several countries. The streets are replicas of how cities and
