If you are looking for the perfect place for a family vacation you need not look any further than The Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. There is a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy here.

The Lake of the Ozarks area of course has many wonderful natural attractions such as caves to explore, camping and hiking areas, and a lake full of boating excitement and fishing. But, did you know that the Lake of the Ozarks offers a variety of man made attractions as well?

In case nature decides to surprise you with rainy weather you won't have to worry about this vacation being ruined, there are a lot of indoor activities in Osage Beach and the surrounding areas. Here is a list to get you started:

1. Miner Mike's Adventure Town: This 12,000 square foot facility has something for the entire family. It is one giant playground. Join in some fun in the Galaxian Theatre. Maybe you have always wanted to go on a big hunt but your wife just wouldn't let you. You can hunt in the safety of the Big Buck Hunter game. Here you can hunt deer, elk, and a variety of other animals. For the adults we have the Long Branch Saloon.

2. The Orion Center: This planetarium offers a view of the universe up close and personal. What a fun way to keep those children studying over summer break. 3. The Strip at Osage Beach: Along this strip of roadway you will find hundreds of local shops, restaurants, and arcades. Don't forget to check out some of the local musical talent while you're here as well.

Here are just a few ideas to get you headed out the door and on your way to some great outdoor fun.

1. Putt-n-Stuff: 18 Hole Miniature golf with waterfalls, caves, and fans provide a wonderful challenge and quality time for everyone. Wait, that isn't all, you can plan on Bumper Cars and Go-Karts also.
