How to find a genuine psychic

by Elle Reeves

Created on: May 25, 2008

According to Psychic Experiences, "only one out of every four psychics are genuine." In the past couple of years I have come to believe this.
I am a very open minded person and have a lot of beliefs that would make some people think of me as a "weirdo."
I have had my palms read, my aura tested, my birth chart analyzed and so many other off the wall readings.
I have spoken to many different psychics and feel as though I have wasted my money. Seriously, they are very expensive.

I would pick them out of newspaper ads, or TV ads or even from magazines. When I talked to them, they asked a bunch of questions and it seemed like they made a guess, some guessed right, while others were way off and I wanted my money back. By the way, you do not get your money back, even if they tell you the wrong age after providing them with your birthday.
I went online to search, out of boredom, it's not as if I am obsessed with psychics, I just get curious every now and then. Also, there are so many ads online about it, why wouldn't a curious person click on it.
The few I talked to online or on the phone, still felt like they were taking guesses.
With my faith lost in the psychic community, it took a random act to restore it.
I was driving in my car and stumbled upon a radio station that had a psychic on air that you could call in and talk to.
I thought, "why not, I am bored, maybe I will get through."
With hundreds of people trying to get through, I somehow managed to hear a ring on the first call.
The only question I was asked was simply my birthday.
I was then put on-air and told to ask my question. My question was simply about a relationship. She asked the man's sign. Then she told me that I was going to give up on the relationship because he was going to become really jealous and possessive.
That was the end of the call. I laughed. At that time, my relationship was going good.
Then about four months later it happened. He called me all the time wanting to know what I was doing, who I was with. He didn't want me to leave the house without him. It ended.
I didn't think about the psychic until my friend brought it up. I was a bit shocked.
About a year later, I caught the same show, called and immediately got through, still with a relationship question. She told me that my current relationship was going to end due to my partner having money issues. I really though this was silly, my boyfriend made good money.
However, a couple of months later it turned out that he was embezzling it. Wow, that was a shock. The psychic was right, and yes the relationship ended immediately.
I guess what I am trying to say is that maybe you have to stumble upon the right psychic for you and it will be genuine, rather than looking for it.
