I, for one do not see or believe that ANY of the candidates left running in this presidential election will have any effect on any of the end time events. There is one and only one that is totally in charge of world events and what will happen or not happen in this age, and He is Jesus Christ. We are already living in the end times. If one studies the scriptures they will realize that things are getting progressively worse year by year, just as is prophesied in Mat 24:6, And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
The three candidates in the race for President boast of grand promises that they will deliver, but the truth is, they cannot. In one respect, one might surmise from their speeches that one of them possibly could be the anti-Christ. It is being talked about in Israel as of late, but has not begun to take place yet.One must go to Daniel to get an understanding of that prophetic event. In Daniel 9:27, we find, " And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:". No matter which candidate acquires the nomination to President, Christians must keep their eye on this event. When this is about to happen, then will the "beginning of sorrows" begin.
In Matthew, Chapter 24, which is called the Sermon on the Mount, we find this dialog between Jesus and His disciples.
Mat 24:3 And he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
The disciples are asking Jesus to tell them three things. (1) When shall these things be? (2) What shall be the sign of thy coming? (3) Of the end of the world? Some believe this refers to the destruction of Jerusalem, and the
