The old kitchen chair
still sits in the sunlight
that beams thru
the small cracked attic window
My many memories of you
come back to my mind
as I see the chair
almost glowing from the suns
beams shinning thru
the small cracked attic window
The memories
the many love thoughts
that I wrote for you
the many envelopes
that I addressed too
the many
that I never sent
Only my beam of sun light
still shines there
as our love is long gone
never understanding
what had went wrong
I write our names
on the desk
in the dust that has settled
over the many years that have passed
Turning and walking away
a tiny tear drop hits the floor
leaving
yet another memory
behind the attic door

distant, weak.
The house is peeling, like my skin
The sun is blaring, like my mind.
