I see poetry in everything and
Everything is poetry to me
Poetry in the pitter-patter of my children's feet
Poetry in their laughter and when they speak
It's poetry when they say
Mommy we want something to eat
Poetry to hear pain in a voice asking
How could you do this to me?
Poetry is the wind that turns into a breeze under tree leaves
And it feels good that's poetry
Poetry is a conversation between lovers
Arguments between daughters and mothers
A football team executing a play
Touchdown!
The crowd screams and does a wave
That's poetry
Poetry is any and everything you feel
Everything you feel is real to you
Poetry is the way a woman moves her hips to her lovers tune
When the music is good
Poetry is the songs you sing that gives you hope
When you're going through some things like
I found a way to get over you
Poetry is in all that I do
My walk, the way I talk and the way I smile
When I'm not expressing my poetry with frowns
Poetry to close my eyes and
See words on paper become my reality
Or is it?
Poetry to wake up in the middle of a good dream
Trying to hurry back to sleep to finish dreaming that same dream
Poetry is the sound of my name...LOVLEE
Poetry is me
I see poetry in everything and everything is
Poetry to me
