While funeral services are not for everyone, it could be considered that the form of the service could be the problem. The current approach to funeral services is to mourn the loss and confirm the death. If the service were to celebrate the life that was, rather than the death of the body, there would be joy and celebration in the funeral service.

The Irish wake has it right. There is joy in dance and music celebrating the progression of the friend that is no longer there with the living. They recognize the progression of the soul into another realm and wish them to see a celebration of the life that was as they go forward.

Many acknowledge that there is an afterlife. We can celebrate a graduation from earth's many lessons to spirit realm's progressive nature. For most, it is seen as a place of peace, for some rest from their weary walk on earth.

No more challenges. No more pain and suffering. Only the joy of fulfilling all our promise. There is not a dream or goal that we have thought, that will not get an opportunity of fulfillment.

And a special promise to all - we will meet again! All relatives, friends, loved ones meet to welcome any newcomer to spirit. Hence, when we have the disasters where many cross over at once, there is no chaos, they are all met by their loved ones and taken where they need to be to recuperate from their life challenge.

There are generally considered to be 7 spheres of spiritual progression:

Level 1: Dark unenlightened level devoid of natural comforts. This is the place where undeveloped spirit go. Those who chose negative, selfish, abusive lives and are not ready to release themselves from this vibration find darkened surroundings. They are the 'stuck' spirit often found around the earth plane as they have not released their attachments to their old lives.

Level 2: Animal level. Animals are found in other levels to add to our pleasure and comfort. But they do not have the same soul progression as humans so their home is within this sphere. Love is a bond that
