Poetry: Longing

I'm longin' for a family,
Or at least a simple team,
I'm longin' for some hope,
So that i can finally dream.
My wishes will never come true,
Cause i don't believe in life
Is there any use livin'
With your heart full of strife?
I loved you, but you left me,
Why did you shove me aside?
You promised to be with me forever,
In your love I did abide.
And i want to be with you right now,
But you've gone so far away,
You'll be in my heart forever and ever,
Though in my life you didn't stay.
Come back now, please return,
I'm longing for your kiss,
My heart belonged only to you,
And all i can say is this:
We could've worked this out,
We could've tried to save it,
But you've gone so far away,
Leaving us with a broken relationship,
So fine, leave me, I can do better than you,
I'm going to start afresh, it's time to renew.
