Ah, the beach. Such a relaxing place to hang out, catch some sun, or even go on a boat ride or jet-ski. Osage Beach is the perfect place to plan your next vacation. Whether it be with the kids, or with your friends, you can still have a wonderful time.

There are lots of lodging areas that one might find suitable for a long relaxing vacation on the beach. The Kalfran Lodge is a great place to stay. It features 12 Double units, 44 apartment-like units, and has a meeting room that can hold up to 1,000 people. The guest services include covered and open boat docks along with boat rentals. Now that sounds like fun! It's like killing two birds with one stone. You get a place to stay, and you can rent a boat without having to drive anywhere to do it!

Osage beach has many attractions that may just catch your eye. You may never want to leave! You may find yourself wanting to go to an amusement park, but there's no Disney World around, you can go to the Big Shot Amusement park. Mickey Mouse won't be there, but there are TONS of rides and carny games to suit your needs.

Or if amusement parks aren't your style, you can check out the Big Surf Water Park. If you're looking to cool down from those hot summer days, you may just want to get a little wet.

For the golf lovers out there, there are MANY miniature golf courses that will suit your needs. Also, for the kids, there are plenty of go-kart tracks to keep them busy while mom and dad have some alone time to relax on the beach.

If you are not too interested in the whole "beach scene," you can try your luck at hiking. There is a great place called Tonka State park that has various hiking trails categorized by difficulty where you can just enjoy nature. You can hike to castle ruins, or even natural bridges. If you are a natural adventure seeker, you may want to check this place out.

Osage beach appeals to all kinds of people. Whether you are an adventure seeker, a beach lover, or just a plain old water park lover, Osage beach is the place for you!
