" A Eulogy for Life"

My inner soul screams
as I gaze down at the fresh earth
that is now your new home
The ground is like a mirror
reflecting back to me,

Now when I look up to the sky
I see you
and feel the indelible mark

Left on my soul
So, though 36 is too young to bury a friend
You still live in my heart
Reminding me each day,
To live
To laugh
To love
To be

Where would I go? What would I do?
Would I spend many nights alone,
Or would I soon find someone
