Rosebud mouth, tiny lips
Nuzzle my breast searching
For sustenance, comfort, love
Wake me when your alarm goes off
Midnight to midnight
You search for me
I barely stir and pull you close
Open wide, baby bird mouth
We sigh in our joining
Drifting in a sleepy wakefulness
Every day is Saturday

Poetry: Mother's milk
by Moeze Lalji
Nature is more
Clever than
Man
The first mum
Was on earth
To discover
God's grace
On her
Until the teeth
Were ready
To chew
The fruits
Mother's milk sent from above
A baby's love established from such
A love so unconditional, true and pure
Who can comprehend
Rosebud mouth, tiny lips
Nuzzle my breast searching
For sustenance, comfort, love
Wake me when your alarm goes off
Midnight
by Marinam
