Is apocalypse looming at the door? Is all this talk about 2012 being the end of the world right? Will the elections in the US later this year seal our fate?
All of it sounds like a bunch of hyper-spiritualism to many of the world, but is it possible that we are approaching the end? Is it even imminent as some are saying?
Will the next president be a sign of the end times? I say no. And this is why? There seems to be little to no evidence of the US playing a significant role in key end time events.
I know there is all this talk about Bible Codes and hidden messages in the Bible, but let's be honest. If God has called us His children, then do you really think he would not tell you what is relevant for you to know in the end times? Remember that God said that He would not do anything without first revealing it to his servants, the prophets. Furthermore, Jesus reprimanded the religious of his day because they could read the skies and determine the weather, but could not discern the spiritual seasons in which they were in.
So, will Hillary Clinton be a sign? Or perhaps Obama, or McCain, or even Ron Paul? I see no description of them in the Bible or a mention of their names. The best one could assume, and I emphasize assume, is that perhaps one of them could be one of the rulers of the nations in those last days. But, anyone who has done even a little reading in the prophetic books can see that these rulers are merely pawns in the battle and events to unfold in this time.
But, I offer this up to your thoughtful consideration. Could the steady decline of morality, and obvious lack of appreciation for life be once again forcing judgment upon this land as it did in Noah's time, or in Sodom and Gomorrah? And if so, what leader would bring significant advance to that end. Hillary and Obama are following the Democratic mantra of abortion. Which means the needless slaughter of innocent lives. Let's not forget the forced acceptance upon society to give unnatural unions between women and between men, and a silencing of those who stand for Godly values. I must be fair though, and say that there are some of the Republican party who are for abortion as well.
So, I will wrap things up like this: The upcoming election is no significant prophetic event in and of itself, but it could certainly be playing a part in the things perhaps shortly to unravel in the next few years. But, don't believe me. Go and search it out for yourself.
