A crooked government, an inept ruler and a few insane celebrities seem to be the people we must respect in this life.
It's the same all over the world. People are more interested about reading an article on their favourite footballer who plays for their favourite football club but seems to hail from a country that located up the back end of Russia.
And people wonder why Britain's gone mad?!
The series of idiotic prime ministers and soppy, weak money making governments has turned our once proud nation into a dirty, malfunctioning, drowning country.
It makes me feel sick when I see yobs and drunks staggering the streets on a weekend, I mean come on guys you should be able to hold you booze and still behave, surely that's what people respect. I know that if my mate came out with me and got the stage of not being able to walk straight or wanted to start a fight I'd be ashamed of him.
Think of the millions who have given their lives for their country, buried in unmarked graves scattered all across the world: India, Spain, Portugal, France, Holland, USA, Germany, Russia, and the Middle East. The list goes on. There is practically no country on earth where an Englishman hasn't died in the name of his country and people just seem to be able to throw that away and not care. Sure we may live in a world where everything's given on a plate but that doesn't mean you have to take it! If you're fat, don't make excuses go and do some exercise! If you lack respect then find some quickly! I could probably find 90 per cent of people on the dole a job within a month the only reason they haven't got one is because there to lazy and the people empowered to stop them using tax-payers money are too busy lining their own pockets!
It seems that stood aside from all this confusion, hatred, mass immigration and severe dysfunction is one very special lady who is still the epitome (thank god) of a stiff upper lip. Yup you guessed it there's the queen keeping her frock clean and sipping a good old cup-pa.
While on the subject of the queen, why would anybody want to disband the royal family?! After all they've done for this country. OK they may not wield the power they once did but they still command respect and fear in equal quantities across the face of this earth. Without out royalty and military supremacy we would still be a small insignificant island in the middle of a few oceans. We would probably all speak different a different language at least.
Most of our games were invented by the aristocracy for god's sake! If you didn't have football, rugby or tennis where would we be? There would be nothing to set us apart from the French now days if it wasn't for our world famous sports.
so what I'm trying to say here is in a country where mass immigration isn't going to stop, corruption is going to grow, ineptitude will be normality and where its considered wrong to be patriotic, if you want to say your English you can't say you want to abolish the royal family at the same time. It's just wrong. Britain is a shadow of its former self and until somebody with brains takes the reins of this potentially great nation once more we will have to live with being respected for our past rather than our weak watered down present country.
If you ask me?
I'd say that this was our darkest hour.
