Finding customers is not a hard thing to do when you have your own business. Customers are everywhere, and anywhere. Before you start looking for customers, I would love to ask you a question. What is a customer for you? and how would you treat them?.
Customers must be treated not as someone who wants to buy your products and needs them, but someone you can consider a friend, you can inmate with your customers by asking about their needs, ask them what they need, how they need their products and what best fits their budget, customers have different price range, some can purchase more and some cannot.

OK. Now sit down and create a list of places where you can find customers, it's not hard,. I will help you with my list of places I have found customers and places I think I can find more customers.
1-Pediatricians Office- While you are waiting for your child to be called, you can create a conversation with someone waiting also,(remember to use your products), this conversation can lead to a recruit, sell or a show at their home. Remember after you leave the PD. ask the nurses or receptionist if you can leave them catalogs and brochures, this is a great opportunity for you.
2-Doctors Office- This is your own adult medicine office, when you have your appointments remember to talk to your nurse about their needs, ask what perfumes they like, what blush they wear, let them know how nice the color lipstick looks on them, and show them some of your products similar to the one they have, I am talking about beauty but it doesn't matter what you sell, all products can be sold and offered everywhere, the same is if you sell toys, adult products, plans and more.
3-Supermarkets-While your at the grocery we always end up having conversations while waiting in the line, this can be an awesome time to show your jewelry if you have it on, tell her, "Hey!, those earrings are nice, I have something that can really suit up with that one". And show her your catalog.
4-Schools- This will include when you get your kids from school, PTO's, SCDM, special activities and even on the parents bulletin boards. You can place fliers on the committee and parents boards.
5-Boyd/Girls Club-Great place yeah!. Many kids and many parents to talk to. This is a huge success if you do it right and at the right moment.
6-Parties- If you are hosting or participating at a friends party, ask them if you can take 15 minutes of their time to talk about your products and opportunities, many whams love to share those moments and help out.
7-Dentist office- All offices you seem to visit and wait is a huge opportunity to talk, share and show your products, don't forget to leave your brochures.
8-Taxi- Yes, taxi's. I sometimes take a cab to places and I accidentally leave catalogs, brochures and business cards and guess what?. I get calls.
9-Job- Your main job is great. You can take your break or lunch to tell your friends at work what you do to be able to work on your own.
10-Bank- When I go to the bank I always ask the assistant if I can leave a book and she takes one, I also leave them at the tables. Their you can find many customers.
11-Pharmacy- When I am waiting for my medications I talk to the person next to me about my business.

The fact is, customers are everywhere and anywhere. Remember to treat them as your friends and not just someone who want to purchase your products and services, be there for them at all time, send them thank you notes, postcards, give them updates calls and let them know you are there for them at all times.
My next article will about my very own party tips at home.
