Humor: Kids and food

Well what can i say about kids and food; I know that my son is going through that stage where he would rather play and throw his food around than eat it. I went to the kitchen of our small flat, to get my son a drink and when I came back in the living room; he had thrown all of his spaghetti bolonase over the room. I couldn't believe, how he manage to get it where he did. There was spaghetti all over the windows and the telly, he had it all in his hair and all over his face. Some how he even managed to get it in his vest and nappy.

I was only out the room for a minute; it goes to show that you can't leave your little angels alone for very long; before they get in to mischief. Well to say the least it took over an hour, to clean him up and remove all the stuck spaghetti, from every corner of the room.

It would be an understatement to say that my son, age two; thought that this was hilarious. My little angel ( devil ) some how thinks that he is two going on eighteen; he thinks that he own the house, so you can't tell him off. Not that I could tell him off that day, because he looked so cute, with all this mess surrounding him. Bless they say that there's more to come; i can't wait, because i guess this is all part of my son growing up.

Although I'm sure that i wont miss the mess.

My son absolutely loves his food and never used to waste one bit. Now though it seems, that the best option, is to have great fun playing with it. I only wish that i had photo for every time , that he has got him self in a real mess. He looks so adorable in that state and not realizing what he has done; the look of innocence on his little chubby face, can melt your heart. Then he gives you a big wide smile with food all around his little mouth, and puckers his lips for a very messy kiss.

Having kids is great, the best time in your life i say. Watching and teaching your little ones to eat by their selves can be a mission in it's self; but i for one love every time my toddler trys to use his spoon or fork, it's endearing to see how progresses and getting better each time he trys.

I remember the first time i let my son feed him self; some may think that i am mad, but i found it a pleasure to watch him try it for the first time. He was so chuffed with him self and was full of smiles. Now when he eats, he sits him self in his chair and waits for me to put his tray on, then impatiently waits for his food to arrive. He looks so pround of him self when he gets his food on his fork, he looks so grown up.

These are some of the memories that you should keep and cherish for ever; i know that i will.
